About / Contact

Hi, and thanks for stopping by my photo website. My name is Bob Gallimore, and I’m a third-generation photographer. My dad and grandfather used photography in their jobs (and leisure time) and passed down their love and knowledge of photography to me.

I’ve recently written a short ebook to help new DLSR owners get the most from their cameras as quickly as possible. You can learn more about it here.

All the photographs throughout this site are mine. You can view more of my photos in my Google+ galleries, and I post my most recent photos in my public Google+ stream.

I shoot primarily with an Olympus E-P1, part of the micro 4/3 system. I chose micro 4/3 as my interchangeable lens system because of the easy adaptability of legacy lenses, as I had a number of Minolta lenses I used with my SRT 101. My other cameras are a Panasonic G1, Fuji FinePix S7000…and my iPhone 4S.

My micro 4/3 lenses include the m.Zuiko 45 mm, m.Zuiko 14-42 mm kit lens, m.Zuiko 40-150 mm, Panasonic 20 mm, Rokinon 7.5 mm fisheye, and a Holga plastic lens. My legacy lenses include a 28 mm Vivitar, a 45 mm f/2 MD Rokkor-X, a 50 mm f/1.4 Minolta MD, a 50 mm f/1.7 MC Rokkor-X, and a 58 mm f/1.4 MC Rokkor.

Please feel free to download any of the photographs on this site or in any of my galleries for your personal, non-commercial use. If you display the photograph publicly (on a website, blog, or physically), please include an attribution to myself and a link to http://www.photobobomb.com.

Prints of most of the photographs on this site or in my galleries are available, starting at $15 for a standard 8X10. Prints are produced from the high-resolution original files without the watermark. To learn more about prints, contact me at bob -at- photobobomb -dot- com.

Thanks to my friends Chris and Dan for the idea for the site name. Thanks to H&H Color Lab (right here in KC!) for the free WordPress theme for photographers. Most importantly, thanks to my friends and family for their help, inspiration, and modeling for various photo projects.
